Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties common to a Custom Harvester found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as and not limited to: Operate self-propelled equipment such as Case IH combines (with draper, stripper, all crop, and corn heads) and Case IH Magnum tractors that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows crops such as corn, wheat, milo, barley, canola, durum, lentils; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery including threshing settings; Perform safety checks on equipment; Operate equipment such as augers, grain carts, fuel/service trailers; Attach implements using hand tools; Clean and maintain equipment and work areas; Drive tractor or truck for transporting crops from fields to elevators, silos, or other storage areas, and transporting equipment and other tools used for harvesting from one field to another; Record information about crops such as yields; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage of crops. Personal cell phone use is limited while clocked in and cannot interfere with performing your job duties. Workers must be able to speak and understand English. The workers hired under this job order will primarily perform certain job duties from within the job description; however, all workers may be expected to perform any of the job duties throughout the duration of the season. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
