Job Duties:

General farm labor including, planting, spraying, picking by hand, packing and harvesting strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins and blackberries. Workers must carefully pick ripe produce, distinguishing between quality and ripeness. Sort and put produce in containers and prepare for transport. Weed, thin and remove old vines, weeds from plants. Mow grass and assist with livestock as needed. Check for pests, disease and physical damage to plants and/or produce. Work to meet quotas and accurately log harvested yield. Must be able to work long hours outdoors in rain, hot and humid conditions. Repetitive motions required such as bending, squatting, kneeling, squeezing and lifting. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs for 50 yds.
