Job Duties:

Duties may include: Workers will be expected to perform all ordinary and usual duties associated with operating a 4,000 acre row crop operation such as plant, spray, weed, fertilize, water, and harvest crops. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment, adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions, operate towed machines to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops, drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools. Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment, & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Variable weather conditions may apply. Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
