Job Duties:

Duties may include: Workers will perform general farm labor duties, including cleaning and maintaining work areas, completing routine farm maintenance such as repairing fences, buildings, and other structures, and assisting with crop production activities. Employees may operate tractors, trucks, and other farm equipment, as well as tractor-drawn and self-propelled machinery, to plow, harrow, fertilize, plant, cultivate, spray, and harvest crops as needed. Workers will also perform livestock care duties, including feeding and watering animals, monitoring feed and water supplies, cleaning and maintaining stalls, pens, and equipment using proper tools and disinfectants, and herding livestock to pasture, pens, trucks, or other enclosures as necessary & other related Farm Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements:

Must be 18 due to insurance. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Variable weather conditions may apply. Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
