Job Duties:

FARM LABORER Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: plant, transplant, trim, weed, spray, maintain, harvest and pack to quality standards, load/unload, and haul crops, including tomatoes, pumpkins, peppers, green beans, cucumbers, squash, asparagus, raspberries, maple syrup, wheat, forage crops, potatoes, onions, soybeans, and corn; plant, transplant, trim, weed, spray, maintain, load/unload, and haul strawberries; prepare fields/soil for planting; bale, load and haul straw and hay; clean and maintain equipment, fields, farm buildings and property; assemble, disassemble, operate and repair irrigation equipment; general greenhouse tasks including cleaning, seeding, moving plants, and watering; assemble bins/containers; drive and operate tractor, gators, cultivators and other farm equipment to perform farm tasks; general lawn care; care for spring and fall batches of calves, including clean pens and hutches and haul manure; drive employer provided vehicle to and from the worksite and to other locations; transport product to market and storage locations and assist with crop recovery within surrounding counties, with all locations allowing workers to reasonably return within same workday. Special Requirements:

Experience Requirement: 3 month(s) verifiable experience in working in commercial agriculture including harvesting crops and operating farm machinery required. Applicants must furnish job references from employers of the last 5 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Job requires worker to complete tasks in general farm labor related to the production and harvest of tomatoes, pumpkins, peppers, green beans, cucumbers, squash, asparagus, raspberries, maple syrup, wheat, forage crops, potatoes, onions, soybeans, and corn. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Season Commitment: Job offered requires worker be available for work for entire employment period.
