Job Duties:

Employees will plant and harvest the cucumbers. They will need to operate a cucumber harvester, tractors, dump cart and other farm equipment. Employees will also have to move equipment as necessary between fields. After all the cucumbers are harvested, they will need to be hauled to the shed for sorting. Employees will assist with sorting and all aspects of cucumber farming as required. Must be able to drive a fork truck. Complete routine maintenance and infield repairs on equipment. Put together the grading shed equipment. This includes installing belts and conveyors, cleaning and testing the cooling systems, prepping the trailers and yard equipment. Employer may pay bonuses and pay increases for longevity and experience. (Years of service increases 2nd yr (AEWR +$0.25/hr), 3rd yr (AEWR+$0.50/hr), 4th yr (AEWR+$0.75/hr), 5th yr (AEWR+$1.00/hr), 6+ yrs (AEWR +$1.25/hr). Return worker bonus will be $500/year for 2nd-5th year of service and $1000/year after 6 years of service.
