- Job Duties:
- We need a seasonal employee to assist with our wheat, soybean, and canola crop production season. The employee will perform all assigned duties related to growing these crops, including preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, seed drills, and harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; operating tractors, planters, sprayers, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery; planting, cultivating, weeding, spraying, fertilizing, and harvesting crops; applying fertilizer and pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus, weeds, and diseases; loading and unloading crops and materials manually or using conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, or hand trucks; monitoring machinery during operation to detect malfunctions; hauling crops, supplies, and tools using farm semi-trucks; and inspecting, adjusting, and completing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
