Job Duties:

Entry level farmhand needed to perform farmyard and building maintenance, clean shop and machinery, assist with equipment repair, organize tools, deliver parts, etc to fields. Potential for training on equipment. Must be able to follow task instructions and driving directions. Work offered is 8 hours per day Monday through Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. Employee may be asked but is not required to work more than 8 hours per day, some Saturdays, on the Sabbath or Federal holidays. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as tenure, exceptional performance, longevity. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

Special Requirements:

Job requires the ability to crawl under/on equipment, climb grain bin ladders and stairs, lift 60 lbs, extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Non-smoking work environment, housing. Employee must read and communicate in English. Employer will conduct random, post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing or refusal to take drug test may result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire background check at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by company hiring practices as allowed by law. Require 2 months experience. May be required to weekends and holidays. Require positive references from previous employers. Employee must be able to obtain ND driver license within 30 days of hire and be insurable as a driver.
