- Job Duties:
- Cutting, tedding, raking, baling, hauling, loading and storing hay in barns. Prepare fields for planting, fertilize, weed, spray, water, harvest and load on trailers . Bushhogging fields and clearing overgrown pasture. Perform a variety of other duties such as lubricating, cleaning and repairing farm machinery. Maintain fences, barn, pens, barnlots and outbuildings. May be asked on some occasions to assist manager with deworming and vaccination on livestock. Work in extreme weather heat or cold for longs hours. Work hours and days may vary weather permitting; too much rain may cause work stoppage or delays as the ground becomes too wet.
