Job Duties:

We have a cattle farm in Missouri that is needing a full time worker to tend to the cattle daily. The cows that will be moved there this Spring will be calving. Calves will need doctored. Fences need checked and fixed. Water tanks checked. Bottle calves fed. Grazing rotated. Mineral/feed placed in pastures. Possible need to make large and small bales of hay. Should be able to drive a truck/livestock trailer and a tractor Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; clean work areas; maintain inventory; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; trap and destroy pests; use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: pickups, cars, etc, semi trucks, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 80 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
