Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate poly pipe and center pivot irrigation equipment; Operate 100-300 HP tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as tractor, tillage equipment, grain carts, combine, swather, rake, baler, etc. to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay, soybeans, corn, silage; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Attend to live farm, ranch animals; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Wean young; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Mix feed, additives, and medicines in prescribed portions; Mark livestock to identify ownership and grade using brands, tags; Segregate animals according to weight, age, color, or physical condition; Speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
