Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Operating a tractor pulling disc, land plane, field cultivator, bedder, planter, ditcher, levee disc, levee splitter, levee packer, grain cart, front bucket of tractor, brushog; Driving a big truck from the field and back with a load of grain to the granary (15-40 miles); Must be able to water levee/paddy rice using floodgates; Must be able to lay poly pipe and punch holes in poly pipe; Must be able to swap lines of poly pipe on fields that have multiple lines of pipe; Must be able to perform mechanical work on all farm equipment with my supervision; Must be able to get a valid drivers license and be able to drive safely everywhere you go; Must have at least one farming season worth of experience on a rice/bean/corn/cotton/peanut farm; Speak and understand English.

- Special Requirements:
- Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
