- Job Duties:
- Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery for cultivating, planting, spraying, watering, harvesting, moving, storing crops; Operate or tend large, high horsepower farm equipment (much of which is equipped with John Deere or Case IH GPS) used in agricultural production such as tractor, harvester, planter, grain cart, tillage tool to produce crops such as soybeans, corn, cotton, peanuts; Adjust farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; Irrigate soil using portable pipes, center pivot, or ditch systems and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps; Assess field condition for planting, moisture needs for watering, and crop maturity for harvest; Speak and understand English.

- Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
