Job Duties:

Agricultural Equipment Operator: Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by Employer or supervisor: drive and operate different types of farm machinery used for soil preparation, planting, cultivating, chopping, weeding, disking, tillage, harvesting, soil irrigation, spraying, gathering, hauling and storing crops, including self-propelled combine, tractors, farm implements, mowers, cultivators; forklifts, discs, rippers, plows, planters, transplanters, conveyors, hand trucks, augers; stringing and training grapes, sprouts and young plants; installing and removing protecting wraps; clean grain dryer and other work areas, farm property buildings; inspect, maintain, prepare and repair farm equipment; power wash ag equipment and trucks; maintain grounds and landscaping; mix and apply fertilizer and other chemicals; install and maintain irrigation; spreading green bean culls; move, load and unload crops; load in planters and haul seed and fertilizer, fuel, and ag supplies; driving Employer provided farm vehicles and loaded farm trucks to move harvested crops from one location to another in the farm, or storage location and to market. Pay will be hourly. Other duties assigned under this order will be consistent under Bureau of Labor Statistics Standard Occupational Classification: Agricultural Equipment Operators (45–2091)

Special Requirements:

Experience Requirement: 3 month(s) verifiable experience in commercial agriculture equipment of 300 HP or more required. Applicants must furnish job references from employers of the last 3 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Job requires worker to complete tasks in agricultural equipment operation and general farm labor of Corn, soybeans, seed corn, green beans, peas, and grapes. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Minimum Productivity/Performance Standards: Worker must possess requisite physical strength and endurance to repeat harvest process throughout workday. Worker must work at sustained pace and make good faith efforts to work efficiently as reasonable under working conditions. Season Commitment: Job offered requires worker to be available for work for entire employment period.
