Job Duties:
FARM LABORER: Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: plant and transplant; move trays; move and stack irrigation pipes; move, stack, and strap pallets; weeding fields; general farm maintenance and clean up; dig and maintain irrigation trenches; perform basic maintenance and operation of tractors; hand harvest to quality standards celery, lettuce, and sweet corn. Pay will be hourly Other duties assigned under this order will be consistent under Bureau of Labor Statistics Standard Occupational Classification: Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery and Greenhouse Workers (45-2092)

Experience Requirement: 2 month(s) verifiable experience in commercial celery, corn and lettuce required. Applicants must furnish job references from employers of the last 5 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Job requires worker to complete tasks in general farm labor and hand harvest of celery, lettuce and sweet corn. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Minimum Productivity/Performance Standards: Worker must possess requisite physical strength and endurance to repeat harvest process throughout workday. Worker must work at sustained pace and make good faith efforts to work efficiently as reasonable under working conditions.
