Job Duties:
Farmworker will assist with chemical application and fertilizer spreading for corn and soy bean crops. Following safety protocols, workers will operate farm equipment including sprayers, tractors, and spreaders to apply fertilizers and crop protection products. Follow precise chemical application and fertilizer spreading procedures according to provided instructions and label requirements. Maintain accurate records of applications including date, time, location, and rates applied. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Load and unload seed, fertilizer, and chemical products as needed. Assist with other general farm duties as needed. Three months farm equipment operation experience required. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records. Must be physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to obtain Drivers License. Pesticide applicator license preferred or be willing and able to obtain it. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs for 75 yards.
