- Job Duties:
- Operate farming equipment in order to plant, harvest and haul grain and alfalfa crops. Stack and bale hay. Calve out calves during the calving season. Brand/tag calves, vaccinate and treat for seasonal sicknesses. Isolate sick calves. Build and repair fencing. Put out salt and minerals and check on water. Check on cows on seasonal pastures. Wean livestock and bring in the cows from seasonal grazing pastures. General farm upkeep duties such as servicing equipment, facility maintenance and shop work.
