- Job Duties:
- Production of vegetables, grain, and hay. Vegetables: a diverse collection of vegetables will be planted, irrigated, fertilized, and kept weeded. They will remove drip tape in the fall. Vegetables will be harvested and field packed. The list includes: beans, corn, peppers, tomatoes, melons, watermelons, eggplant, strawberries, cucumbers, and herbs, and small quantities of other vegetables. Workers will operate a string trimmer and walk-behind tiller. Hay: workers will help with removing bales from the field and stacking them in the barn. Grain: help keep equipment and elevators clean. The daily or weekly work schedules may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employers will notify workers of any change to the schedule.
