Job Duties:
Duties may include: Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, large self-propelled sprayer and irrigation equipment. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, harvest, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, or tools. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Set up, maintain, and operate irrigation pivots. Mark livestock to identify ownership and grade, using tags. Shift animals between grazing areas to ensure that they have sufficient access to food and check water supplies and refill when necessary & other related Field/Crop Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

Must be 18 due to equipment use. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 60lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Variable weather conditions may apply. Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
