Job Duties:

The workers on this application will perform general maintenance on farming equipment and will be expected to carry out various electrical, mechanical, and reparation tasks on farm sites. Workers on farm sites will perform routine maintenance on farm equipment, including inspecting and repairing machinery, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters. They will diagnose and fix mechanical issues using tools like hammers, drills, and precision instruments, as well as assemble, install, or repair electrical components, plumbing, and equipment. Additional tasks include cleaning and lubricating machinery parts, aligning new equipment, dismantling defective machines, and maintaining specialized farm machinery. They will also fabricate or repair wooden structures, such as sheds, and maintain boilers as needed. Equipment to be repaired and maintained includes but is not limited to ventilation equipment, farm machinery, trucks and tractors.

Three (3) months of experience doing general maintenance and repair work is required. Must be able to lift/carry 75 lbs/75 yards. Post-employment drug test paid for by employer when applicable.
