Job Duties:

Workers are needed seasonally for the mowing and merging of alfalfa, tillage of alfalfa fields and maintenance of agricultural equipment. Workers will participate in the planting of alfalfa and corn, spraying the fields for diseases and infestations. Spray the premises for flies and weeds. Mow grass on premises and on the dikes of manure lagoon. Dispose of brush and trees found in ditches so water can flow away from fields. Upkeep of gravel roads on premises. Harvest the alfalfa and corn, cover feed bunks with plastic and side walls. Rat and mice control, especially at harvest time. Workers will also assist with the upkeep of barns and facilities, and feeding cows. Workers will operate heavy equipment and may haul manure at times. Applicants should have 3 months of previous experience with 600 hp or greater tractors and tillage equipment and must possess a valid drivers license for road travel. During manure hauling season workers may work up to 75 hours per week.
