Job Duties:

Perform temporary and seasonal agricultural tasks at and on employer leased crop farm worksites connected to crop cultivation, crop protection, crop fertilization, and seasonal crop production operations. Duties include maintaining inventory, ordering materials as required, manipulating controls to set, activate, and adjust agricultural mechanisms on agricultural machinery; observing and listening to machinery operation to detect malfunctions; mixing and loading specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into sprayer machinery; driving and operating farm machinery to plant, cultivate, spray, harvest, or store crops; operating or tending equipment used in agricultural production, loading and unloading crops or containers of crop materials manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers; cleaning work areas and maintaining grounds. Crops: Alfalfa, Barley, Corn, Oats, Rye, Soybeans, Spring Wheat, Sunflower, Triticale, Winter Wheat.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
