Job Duties:

Under the direction of supervisors, assisting with the placement of concrete doing duties that require less skill. Assist supervisor by holding measuring instruments as directed to measure and layout of livestock/poultry building. Mix, pour or spread rough concrete using portable cement mixer. Tend water/concrete pumps and hoses and tend compressors and/or generators to provide air/power for tools, machinery or equipment. Follow directions of supervisor to position and dismantle aluminum forms for placing concrete using hammers, nails or bolts. Under direction of supervisor, place strengthening materials in concrete such as rebar, hot water or calcium. Spread rough concrete using floats, trowels, screeds or powered concrete tools. Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement and manually load and move concrete as directed by supervisor. Position, join, align or seal structural components such as concrete wall sections or pipes using sealants. Clean up jobsite. Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs/75yds and work in temperature extremes. Zero month of aluminum wall form setting experience required.
