Job Duties:

Operate tractor, tractor drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery for producing hay and garlic; assist with garlic harvest including manual labor on garlic digger/bulker sorting crew, and operate bulker tractor; assist with irrigation operation and maintenance for watering crops; workers will weed crops, and employer will abide by the pertinent regulations at 8 Cal. Code Regulations Section 3437, 3456(b-c).; clean work area and maintain grounds and landscaping; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; guide products on conveyers to regulate flow through machines, discard rotten items. Workers will also assist with re-planting native plants, trees, shrubs and forages as part of conservation plans on the farm. This may include managing hedgerows along fences, waterways, rivers, and other natural areas on the farm.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
