Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Till and fertilize row crop ground for soybean planting, plant soybeans, receive and wean stocker calves for grazing summer pastures, feed, deworm and vaccinate stockers, inspect and repair fences, hand weed thistles; fertilize summer pastures and hay fields, feed stocker calves, mechanical weeding of soybean fields, drain soybean fields and pasture, cut, rake and bale hay; produce hay, weed fields, repair fences, harvest soybeans, brush hog pastures, prepare land; plant wheat, make final cutting of hay, harvest pecans, fertilize and weed wheat, drain fields; move stockers to wheat pasture, check and doctor stockers daily, clean equipment from soybean harvest, clean pecans; pull stockers off wheat pasture at hollow stem to be sold, service and winterize equipment and place into storage; clean work areas; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.

- Special Requirements:
- Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
