- Job Duties:
- Control, operate, and maintain farm and processing equipment to plant, cultivate, harvest, store, and process fruit and vegetable crops. Manipulate farming equipment, including attaching and setting up farm implements, such as plow and tiller to tractor. Tasks may include tilling soil, planting, cultivating, and pruning fruit and vegetables. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Will include the control, operation, and maintenance of stationary equipment for post-harvest tasks such as husking, shelling, crushing, pressing, and bottling or canning. Crops: rhubarb, chokecherry, haskap, buffalo berry, chives, and mint.
