Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Basis farm labor - cotton, corn, soybean and rice farm. No livestock, no big truck driving. Help plant, water and harvest. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load and unload materials and commodities; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, combines or other harvesting equipment, cotton stripper/picker, grain carts, irrigation equipment, planters, sprayers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, cotton, grain sorghum, rice, soybeans.

- One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
