Job Duties:
Duties may include: Loading/unloading beekeeping equipment and tools on to trucks, assessing beehives to split in half to make new hives, adding queens to new hives, feeding honey and syrup to hives, applying medication and treatments to hives, putting on additional boxes on hives to be filled with honey, remove honeybees from additional boxes to harvest honey, use machines at warehouse to spin out the honey out of the honeycombs, separate the honey and wax, melt the wax, pump the honey into tanks and pour into 5 gallon buckets and 55 gallon barrels, pump honey into jars for wholesale distribution. Worker will use a hive tool, similar to a paint scraper to pry beehive boxes apart to care for the hives and scrape the beeswax. Worker will use the honeycomb spinning machines to spin the honey out of the comb, the wax and honey separating machine, the wax melter, and honey pumps to transfer honey to tanks, barrels, & other related Beekeeper activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.
