- Job Duties:
- Perform tasks associated with planting, cultivating, cutting, harvesting, and baling hay. Operate tractors and farm implements for cutting and raking hay, bailing and moving bales. Maintain farm machinery and perform routine maintenance and cleaning when needed. Feeding, watering, and monitoring cattle. Assisting with breeding, birthing, and weaning activities and administering medications and vaccinations when needed under established protocols. Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. Patrolling grazing areas on horseback or all-terrain vehicles and maintaining basic livestock records. Perform general maintenance; including cleaning and disinfecting pens and barns, repairing fences and buildings, mowing, and maintaining farm grounds. Occasionally driving to town to obtain farm or cattle supplies.

- Minimum of 2 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive sitting is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
