Job Duties:
Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with a one (l) hour, un-paid, lunch. Duties include inspection, maintenance, cleaning and repair of farm equipment, machinery, and buildings, maintain pens, yards, and fences and/or participation in irrigation activities. Feeding, watering, catching, weighing, cleaning and loading animals. Driving farm trucks, tractors and other equipment to distribute feed to animals. Moving equipment, and/or animals from one location to another manually or using farm trucks or carts. No heavy trucks. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. No experience or education necessary, employer will train. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned are provided to the worker, without charge or deposit. Hours may fluctuate due to weather conditions or mechanical breakdowns but will not reduce the 3/4 guarantee over the life of the contract. Possibility of work breakdown will not reduce workers guarantee over the life of the contract.

Housing is provided subject to allowable deduction. Once hired, workers may be required to take a random drug test (at no cost to the worker), as part of fitness for duty and workers safety. Drug testing relates to safety assurance in a working environment. Testing positive or failure to comply with the random drug testing may result in immediate termination from employment.
