Job Duties:

Seasonal employees are needed to assist with all aspects of the corn and bean production season. Workers will perform duties related to growing and harvesting crops, including preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, and harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; operating tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery; and engaging in planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, and harvesting activities. Employees will fertilize and spray crops, including applying fertilizer and pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus, weeds, and disease using hand sprayers or other application equipment. Workers will drive farm semi-trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, complete maintenance and repairs on irrigation systems, and perform routine maintenance and repair of farm equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
