- Job Duties:
- Workers are required to assist in preparing fields for planting, putting out fertilizer, irrigation duties, planting, working the crops that are planted, harvesting crops, field sanitation duties, field or shed packing vegetables for sale, some tractor driving may be required, minor repair and maintenance and cleaning farm vehicles, equipment, implements, tools, etc. Keeping picking crates and bins clean and any other general farm labor duties that may arise from working a vegetable farm. Workers will be required to follow all work and safety rules. Workers must be physically able to perform all manual labor duties described. Workers may be drug tested post-hire to ensure worker safety and to keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Failure to comply or testing positive may result in immediate termination.
