Job Duties:
FARM LABORER: Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: plant, thin, prune, train, position, maintain, and other general care of fruit trees and plants; remove weeds; maintain and clean up landscaping, farm and fields; paint tree trunks and posts; stake plants; organize, clean and sanitize harvest tools, equipment and containers; operate tractors, vehicles, and forklifts to complete farm tasks related to planting, maintaining, cultivating, harvesting, loading, unloading, and hauling crops at, to and from employer owned/operated worksites; hand harvest to quality standards apples, pears, cherries, plums, peaches, nectarines, grapes, and strawberries. Pay will be hourly. Other duties assigned under this order will be consistent under Bureau of Labor Statistics Standard Occupational Classification: Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery and Greenhouse Workers (45-2092)

Experience Requirement: 2 month(s) verifiable experience in of fruit or produce hand harvest experience required. Applicants must furnish job references from employers of the last 2 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Job requires worker to complete tasks in general farm labor and hand harvest of cherries, plums, peaches, grapes, strawberries, pears, nectarines, and apples. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Season Commitment: Job offered requires worker be available for work for entire employment period. Drug testing done at employer's expense and notutilized as preemployment tool.
