Job Duties:

Field cultivation- preparing the fields to begin planting for the season. We will be planting starts and seeds for harvest this year. Ridding the fields of weeds when they begin to grow to prevent spread. Pruning peach, apple or peach trees. We also grow tomatoes, peppers, raspberries, blackberries that will need pruning. Fertilizing when necessary. Watering the crops when we have a dry spell. Harvesting crops for our CSA, weekly. Digging potatoes and sweet potatoes during their harvest season. Care for hedge rows and trees when necessary. Mulching with haybales and wood chips. We grow any number of these items on the farm, additional items may not be listed - potatoes (regular and sweet), garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussel sprouts, okra, peppers, tomatoes, squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumbers, herbs, pumpkins, greens, rooting vegetables, blueberries, strawberries, black berries, raspberries, apples, peaches, pears etc.

Need to be able to drive a tractor with bucket, forks, tiller or bush hog. We also have a 4x4 UTV they would be required to drive.
