Job Duties:

Workers will perform general agricultural labor supporting seasonal crop production and agricultural application activities associated with field crops, including wheat. Duties include preparing, operating, and maintaining agricultural equipment used in crop production and ground or aerial agricultural application operations. Workers will mix and load fertilizer and crop protection materials, support agricultural field application activities, and assist with preparing equipment and materials required for daily agricultural operations. Additional responsibilities include organizing and handling agricultural supplies, materials, and inputs used in crop cultivation and agricultural application services. Workers will maintain agricultural equipment, facilities, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient seasonal operations. Duties also include supporting crop production activities during key seasonal periods such as planting, crop maintenance, and harvest preparation, when labor demand increases due to the condensed northern growing season. Workers will perform manual agricultural tasks necessary for the cultivation and production of field crops and will assist with handling agricultural materials and equipment required for seasonal farm operations. Additional general farm labor duties may be performed as needed to support seasonal agricultural operations and ensure the timely completion of essential crop production and agricultural application activities. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level II Experienced Level Pursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level II Experienced Level, indicating that the job requires prior related experience, independent judgment in performing recurring tasks, and the ability to work with limited supervision. The employer reserves the right to withhold the applicable housing deduction as permitted under program regulations, when approved and disclosed in the job order.
