Job Duties:

Crops: Cucumbers, Cabbage, Kale, Collards Picking Stones: Workers will hand-pick stones to be removed from fields. Weeding: Workers will hand pull weeds competing with crops and will dispose of weeds according to instructions given by their supervisor. Hoeing: Workers will work through crops using hoes. Workers shall not damage crops with tools. Harvest Cucumber: Workers will hand pick cucumbers. They will collect and sort correct produce sizes based on supervisor indication. General Activities: All Crops: During field operations, workers may be required to operate forklifts, pull weeds, move irrigation pipe, clean and repair housing, and perform farm, housing and field sanitation.

Special Requirements:

Two (2) months of verifiable farm work experience required. Workers will pick stones, weed, hoe, and hand-harvest cucumbers. Workers must exercise extreme care not to drop farm produce at any time during handling. Able to work in hot, cold, and/or humid weather, bending or stooping to reach ground-level crops, and able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Workers must be physically able to lift between 50 and 75 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs frequently. Workers should report to work in their own suitable clothing.
