- Job Duties:
- The Harvest Operator is responsible for operating machinery and performing manual labor to harvest crops in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. • Drive and control farm equipment to harvest crops such as peas and corn with attention to surroundings and operation of equipment in a safe and careful manner. May also include operating stationary equipment to perform post-harvest tasks. • Perform pre-inspection of all equipment before operating machinery and notify the supervisor immediately if adjustments, repairs or service are needed. Communicate with supervisors and/or peers in person, telephone or written form. Please see addendum C: A.8a- Job Duties (a)
