Job Duties:
We need seasonal employees to assist with our corn and soybean crop production season. Employees will assist with all aspects of crop production, including preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; and operating tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery. Duties also include planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, and harvesting crops; loading and unloading crops or materials manually or using conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, or hand trucks; loading hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines using forklifts, augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks; observing machinery during operation to detect malfunctions; inspecting, adjusting, and completing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment; mowing lawns; washing equipment; and hauling people and equipment between fields. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

The job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures and involves extensive physical activity, including pushing, pulling, walking, and sitting for long periods. Frequent stooping, bending, and repetitive movements are expected. Employees must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. A valid drivers license and 3 months experience.
