Job Duties:

Operate trucks, tractors, or other multi-purpose vehicles to move workers from housing to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday. Under direction of supervisor, worker will perform any combination of tasks involved in the operation of tractors and farm machinery to plant, cultivate, spray and/or harvest fruit & vegetables such as apples, peaches, tomatoes, corn, pumpkins, squash, cucumbers and peppers. Attach farm implements to tractors and drive tractors in fields to prepare soil, plant, fertilize, mow grass, cut brush, plant young trees, spraying fruit trees and plants and/or harvest crops. Make adjustments and minor repairs to machinery. Mix chemical ingredients and spray fruit trees to control insects, fungus, weeds or diseases. Remove excess growth using pruning saws and clippers. Irrigate soil. Pick fruit & vegetables during harvest. Thin blossoms and immature fruit. Prop limbs to prevent breakage. Operate frost protection equipment. Must be physically able to lift up to 75lbs on a consistent basis throughout the day. While working in the field, all cell phone usage is limited to emergency use only. Due to health and safety concerns on a farm, worker must understand basic instructions in English. Workers referred as a result of this order must have a minimum of 3 months of verifiable experience in performing the tasks described in this order.

The employer will not guarantee to pay the workers a bonus but reserves the right, at the employers sole discretion, to offer a bonus or to pay an hourly wage rate in excess of the highest applicable rate stated above based on longevity of employment or exceptional job performance. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any seasonal worker employed pursuant to this job order at the companys sole discretion based on individual factors including but not limited to work performance and experience
