Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Operating self-propelled equipment such as tractor with trailer, grain cart with tractor, loader, truck with trailer that assists with reaping, harvesting, threshing, swathing or winnowing crops such as wheat, canola, soybeans, milo, potatoes, corn; Load crops onto trucks by driving alongside harvesting machine without stopping, maintain appropriate distance; Perform manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment such as changing tires, lights, filters; Perform safety checks on equipment, wash trucks and trailers; Drive 10, 15, and 18 speed trucks (Caterpillar, Cummins, and PACCAR engines) with trailer to transport harvested crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas; Drive Operating self-propelled equipment such as tractor with trailer, grain cart with tractor, loader, truck with trailer that assists with reaping, harvesting, threshing, swathing or winnowing crops such as wheat, canola, soybeans, milo, potatoes, corn; Load crops onto trucks by driving alongside harvesting machine without stopping, maintain appropriate distance; Perform manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment such as changing tires, lights, filters; Perform safety checks on equipment, wash trucks and trailers; Drive 10, 15, and 18 speed trucks (Caterpillar, Cummins, and PACCAR engines) with trailer to transport harvested crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas; Drive from one field to another. - Special Requirements:
- Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
