- Job Duties:
- Grade potatoes by identifying and removing poor quality potatoes and non-potato objects Operate conveyers, pilers, and potato washline equipment Record quality information about potatoes and perform quality control Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, and post-harvest treatment of potatoes Clean trailers prior to being loaded with potatoes Unload potatoes from trucks Load potatoes into trucks by operating a potato piler Calibrate equipment as necessary Operate bobcat, skid steer Notify supervisor of potato quality issues Notify supervisor of equipment issues Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment General site clean up Perform general farm work All tools will be provided at no cost
