Job Duties:

Job requires the operation of various tractors and farm equipment to till soil; work ground; prepare and maintain land; and plant, fertilize, spray, cultivate, harvest, and transport crops to elevator or storage area. Equipment that workers may be required to operate includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements, sprayers, combines, and mowers. General lubrication, service (check fluids), wash, and minor mechanical repair to farm machinery. Yard maintenance such as mowing, weeding eating, and clean up. Shop maintenance such as clean up, carpentry work on houses/garages. Any other tasks that may need to be completed on the farm. This job involves manual labor, lifting, carrying, bending, and long days in the heat and cold. Schedule and duties may vary depending on crop and field conditions. Work may include weekends, evenings, or overtime as necessary during peak periods. The employer will provide notice of schedule changes as far in advance as possible.
