Job Duties:

Drive semi-trucks to haul hay to and from various ranches and the company barn to assist with feeding of livestock. Load and unload hay. Haul sheep for delivery to market. Operate or drive a Caterpillar machine. Check all load related documentation for completeness and accuracy. Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure. Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order. Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods and animals. Position requires no more than 20% of the time in the shop where the employees will inspect, repair, maintain and weld farm machinery and vehicles.

Special Requirements:

Qualified applicants must possess at least 6 months of relevant experience in commercial truck driving. Candidates must also have experience with agricultural mechanics. All qualified applicants must have the authorization to work in the United States, be willing to perform the agricultural duties as described in this job order and be able to meet the physical demands of the position and the employer's work schedule with or without reasonable accommodation. New hires will be subject to E-Verify screening. Applicants must also have a valid commercial driver's license and a clean driving record.
