Job Duties:

Strawberry Harvest: The workers will hand harvest strawberries in the row & field indicated by the supervisor. Workers pick strawberries from the plants. Workers will pick according to grade, color, and size by grasping berries with fingers and removing berries so as not to harm adjacent berries and buds, bruise the picked berries, or drop green or ripe fruit. Workers will place berries into flats or buckets. The workers will perform duties on the strawberry picking assistants. Workers will hand pick strawberries from the plants. Workers will pick strawberries according the grade, color, and size by grasping berries with fingers and removing them from the plants. Workers will lift and stage empty and full flats of berries to and from pallets. Workers will secure pallets of fruit for safe transportation. Please see Addendum C: A.8.A Job Duties

This job requires the person to stand, bend, reach, squat, shovel, and walk on muddy surfaces and lift up to 75 pounds. When lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load. Please see Addendum C: B.6 Job Qualifications and Requirements
