Job Duties:
Crops: Squashes, Zucchini, Cabbages, Hard squashes Plant, harvest, hand pick, sort, grade, count, clean, pack, load and unload a variety of squashes, zucchini and cabbage. Install, maintain, operate, regulate, and repair irrigation equipment. Install/remove items required in plasticulture, till soil, weed, rake, and perform field clean-up/maintenance. Workers may lay sticks, destake, string crop, cut string. Work in inclement weather (rain, heat, cold, hot, humid) weather may fluctuate work hours (+/-), possible downtimes. Workers may utilize hand tools such as shovels, shears, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, buckets, knives, and various cultivation tools. Workers will pick produce using buckets which will then be carried to dump into a bin on a trailer pulled by a tractor. Packing produce by size, quantity and quality may be done in the fields. Workers will be required to lift and carry minimum 50 lbs. Perform repetitive walking, stooping, bending, and reaching for prolonged periods of time.

No experience required. Workers will be expected to conform to the specific instructions given for each days work. Institutions and general supervision will be provided by the employer or a designated employee. Workers will have close supervision to insure adherence to instructions. Work will be closely monitored and review for quality. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination.
