- Job Duties:
- ROGUEING: The worker will remove corn plants that are a different species as they walk down the corn field aisles between the plants, thus preparing field for detasseling. SEED CORN SORTING: Corn cobs will be sorted off conveyor belt by size and class. CORN DETASSELING: Workers will follow detasseling machine by foot removing any spikes left on plants by machine. GENERAL LABOR: Hand weeding around the corn plants, removing volunteer plants.
