Job Duties:

The farmworkers positions include duties associated with picking of hot peppers, load and unload peppers, harvesting and quality control while harvesting peppers, removal of plastic mulch,irrigation materials, removal stakes/strings, field sanitation,operate equipment, clean working equipment on jobsite one person will be stelected as team lead . This work can require standing, walking, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs for long period of time outside in all weather conditions. It includes making important decision in the field based on the fruit size, fruit color, and ripeness of fruit in accordance with proiscribe standards.Setup harvesting area both AM and PM and clean haevesting tools. Farmworkers will be given 5 days of traing with full hourly rate at the end of the 5 days they will be asses and a deciosin will be made as to the future of the employee on the job. At the end of trainng each farmworker is expect to harvest 3.62 five gallon buckets of peppers per hour to be able to continue working wth the company. The farmworkers are required adhere to food safety standards food quality standards and operating procedures with the ability to work quickly and consistently alongside fellow workers. Workers are required to operate with positive, professional and team-based attitudes and with conideration for the safety and health of their fellow workers and of the end user who is the consumers who will purchase and consume produce grown, harvested and packed and shipped from this farm.
