Job Duties:

Harvest, grade, and sort fresh market okra and watermelons as well as other miscellaneous farm tasks at other farms in Coleman County operated by W. Holloway, LLC and subsidiaries. Hours may vary due to weather conditions ie: during periods of extreme heat, work may be divided into morning and evening shifts to avoid working during the hottest part of the day.

Special Requirements:

Workers to harvest, sort, and grade 13-20lb boxes of okra and load onto trailer. Workers to harvest watermelons weighing from 20-50lb and load onto trailer. Occasional other farm tasks may be required at varying farm locations operated by W. Holloway, LLC and subsidiaries such as tending to livestock, picking rocks, repairing fences, etc. drug test and background check are to be performed pre-hire. Specific criminal convictions that disqualify candidates include sex offenses as children and women live on and frequently visit the farm, violent or aggravated offenses as candidates will be living and working in close proximity to one another in a team environment, theft or burglary as candidates will be around expensive tools and equipment that we rely on for day to day operations. A clean drug screen is mandatory as workers will be performing tasks in close proximity to heavy machinery.
