Job Duties:

Work may include but is not limited to, plant, cultivate and harvest various crops such as but not limited to vegetables and field crops, potatoes. Use hand tools such as but not limited to, shovels, brooms, hoes, knives and ladders. Duties include but not limited to, tiling the soil, applying fertilizer, transplanting, weeding, hand picking rocks, applying general use pesticides under the supervision of licensed applicator. Picking, cutting, sorting, and packaging harvested products. Clean and disinfect storage buildings, shops, and farm equipment using pressure washer, mow grass with lawn mower and weed eaters. May set up, drive, operate and repair farm vehicles, repair fences and farm buildings. Drive and operate farm tractors, trucks, and equipment with attachments in order to complete agricultural duites. Drivers license is most helpful but not required. May also participate in irrigation activities. Work is performed in and outdoors, sometimes under hot, cold, or wet conditions. Work will require workers to bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50lbs daily. 1 month experience in duties listed required.
