- Job Duties:
- Set up, move, and maintain siphon, flood, drip, and pivot irrigation system. Use hand tools to clean irrigation ditches. By hand, hoe onions, corn, and wheat. Harvest onions. Clean and maintain storage bins, sheds, and shops. Operate and perform regular maintenance and repair of combine, onion harvester, tractors, and equipment. Perform carpentry work such as building crates and pallets. Work schedules may vary, and employees may be assigned to rotating shifts, including evening or weekend work as needed. Duties may change during the workday depending on crop and weather conditions or other needs. Workers will perform a variety of general farm labor tasks as assigned, consistent with the job description and within the certified hours.
